Hi, I’m Larissa, and I’m so glad you’ve found your way to Blissful Bear Sleep.

When I became a parent, I found myself lost in a thicket of sleep advice and searching for answers. I spent many sleepless nights frantically Googling "WHY WON'T MY CHILD SLEEP"?

 

After being given advice that didn't resonate with who I am as a parent, I threw my hands into the air, feeling defeated. I conceded to the fact that I was doomed to be beyond exhausted until my daughter slept through the night. And who knew when that would be? 

I turned to my coworkers and friends for support. I need help. However, we had a significant financial barrier. 

My husband was laid off when I was thirteen weeks pregnant. I quickly learned how limited resources were in my community, especially for low-income families like mine. I felt alone in my experience. Depending on family for diapers and friends for hand-me-down clothes, we got by, but were unable to access resources that would have drastically changed my experience. What a failure of our system! 

I decided to take matters into my own hands. I became a Certified Baby and Toddler Sleep Consultant to help other families avoid the same confusion and frustration I went through. My mission is to help you create a peaceful, restful sleep routine for your little one—without compromising your family values or adding more stress.

I’m especially passionate about supporting families who may not know that this kind of help is available or who may feel that support is out of reach. I believe every family deserves the reassurance and guidance they need to thrive, and I’m here to offer that in a way that feels accessible and authentic.

My Approach

At Blissful Bear Sleep, I take a holistic approach to sleep consulting because I believe that fixing sleep challenges doesn’t start at bedtime. It starts with understanding the whole child—their routines, environment, emotional needs, and family dynamics. Every family is unique, and I work with you to create a personalized sleep plan that aligns with your values, so you never have to compromise what’s important to you for the sake of sleep.

My approach is grounded in empathy, patience, and a deep respect for your family’s rhythm.
